Sweet and Spicy: A Collaboration Post

I have always been into fashion ever since I was little. I believe that this is one way of expressing myself without the use of words. More often than not, I always make sure that I look presentable whenever I go out of my house. In this post, I will be sharing the results of the photoshoot I had with my runner and photographer friend, Tristan, at Bonifacio High Street.

This was actually my first real collaboration with a friend so I got very excited. I have not made fashion-related posts recently and I saw this as the perfect opportunity to make one.

We scheduled this on the weekend after I got back from my hike to Mt. Halcon and I was grateful to my friend for being able to make time for me despite his really packed schedule that weekend. (Note: He was booked for XX number of photography events for the whole weekend!)

Ready for the photos? Read on below.

Outfits of Summer 2015

Hi everyone! It’s Throwback Thursday and I thought of compiling most of my summer 2015 outfits in this post because I already miss summer and I’m looking forward to summer 2016!

Look Up, February

Hello! I haven’t been writing as much the past few weeks because I have been very preoccupied. But let me make up for it through this post.

February has always been my favorite month. Aside from the fact that it’s my birth month, I also consider this as a special month because one, the number of days vary and two, it’s the month of “love”.

I always look forward to this whole month and it excites me every time. However, February 2015 hasn’t been the most exciting for me. A lot of not so good things have been happening simultaneously so most of my days have been difficult. I sometimes quote Queen Elsa (from Frozen haha):

Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know

to remind myself to conceal the negative feelings and not let other people know because I don’t want them to worry about me. Well some might say that’s wrong because “a problem shared is a problem halved” while some might also say that’s okay because we should “stop talking about the problem and start doing the solution”.

But then I guess these things haven’t really stopped me from trying to turn February around one day at a time.

My Christmas 2014

Happy Holidays everyone! It’s the most wonderful time of the year again when Jesus, our savior, is born. We should all remember that this is the true meaning of Christmas.

During this season, most of us celebrate with the people closest to us, our families. Mine has a tradition of celebrating Christmas with my mom’s side of the family because my grandfather’s birthday is also during this month (hey, hey double celebration!). Every year, we go to my grandfather’s house and conduct a short program which includes BINGO and Karaoke and Coin Toss and Aguinaldo Giving among others.

I also mentioned in my earlier blog posts that I love dressing up during special occasions. Of course, this includes Christmas!

A Thing For Blazers

Let me start off by saying how much I adore blazers: I ADORE BLAZERS! For one, they make a casual attire look slightly formal. This is perfect for days when I’m wearing something casual and a meeting suddenly comes about. I just slip on my blazer and poof, I’m meeting-ready.

Below are some photos of what I wore with the blazer I just recently bought.

A Girl Should Always Look Presentable

This is what I told myself when I was younger. I do not remember when I started to love dressing up because I used to be the wear-whatever-you-find-on-top-of-the-closet kind of girl but I like how I dress up now.

For me, what I wear reflects the kind of personality I have or the mood I am in. And I believe that dressing up right generates respect from other people. In this entry, I will share my style habits. Hope you read through!
