Birthday 2016

Another year has passed and just like that, I turned 24 last February 23. I did not do anything special like climbing a mountain or going on an adventure because I had work. But overall, the day turned out to be really great.

No stress at all.

The Chick

Hi! Remember when I posted about my different types of work outfits? Well today I wore one type: The Chick!

I also decided to look a bit different than usual so I changed something from my everyday look.

The Three Types of Work Outfits

Hi! We transferred offices just a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, the office got farther from where I live so I have to wake up extra early just to be able to make it to the office by 8:30AM. I must admit that I am not a morning person so waking up even before the sun is up is very challenging and oftentimes exhausting. Nonetheless, I still try to be positive about my work week by doing one of the things I like to do at the beginning of my day – dressing up.

Read on below to check my workday ensembles.

No Pain, No Gain

Hi! This will be a quick post on the things that happened last week.

I guess the highlight would probably be how I wasn’t able to walk properly the entire week. It all started after my fun run – because we immediately headed to Pico, I wasn’t really able to stretch and do my cool down. I felt the leg pain in Pico because whenever we did jump shots, I would always lose my balance and fall to the sand as soon as we landed. I did not mind it because I thought it was just an ordinary muscle pain that would disappear the following day – it didn’t.

Hi everyone, this will be a quick outfit post for February 21, 2015.

I had a long day ahead with many places to go to (and I always try stand by my word that a girl should always look presentable) and here was what I wore:

Dress from Forever 21, black shoes from Mario d’Boro, wrist watch from Kenneth Cole, gold necklace from my mom

CAMERAI especially liked the “safe midriff” feel of the dress made possible by the thin, black cloth. But because it’s black, people won’t really notice that the cloth is a bit see-through.

The pair of shoes, on the other hand, is also a pair that I like. It looks very simple but the gold outline makes it appear more elegant.

More outfit posts soon!

Look Up, February

Hello! I haven’t been writing as much the past few weeks because I have been very preoccupied. But let me make up for it through this post.

February has always been my favorite month. Aside from the fact that it’s my birth month, I also consider this as a special month because one, the number of days vary and two, it’s the month of “love”.

I always look forward to this whole month and it excites me every time. However, February 2015 hasn’t been the most exciting for me. A lot of not so good things have been happening simultaneously so most of my days have been difficult. I sometimes quote Queen Elsa (from Frozen haha):

Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know

to remind myself to conceal the negative feelings and not let other people know because I don’t want them to worry about me. Well some might say that’s wrong because “a problem shared is a problem halved” while some might also say that’s okay because we should “stop talking about the problem and start doing the solution”.

But then I guess these things haven’t really stopped me from trying to turn February around one day at a time.

Print On Print

Hi everyone. It has been a while since I last posted a blog entry so let me start off by greeting you guys a very Happy New Year! I have listed some of my resolutions in my 2015 planner and one of those is to post at least one entry here every week. Good luck to me!

So today I went to lunch with my dad’s side of the family. And because I am sick, I decided to wear a jacket/hoodie despite the hot weather. Well I didn’t feel the hot weather because I was having chills most of the time. In any case, below are the photos of what I wore earlier:

My Christmas 2014

Happy Holidays everyone! It’s the most wonderful time of the year again when Jesus, our savior, is born. We should all remember that this is the true meaning of Christmas.

During this season, most of us celebrate with the people closest to us, our families. Mine has a tradition of celebrating Christmas with my mom’s side of the family because my grandfather’s birthday is also during this month (hey, hey double celebration!). Every year, we go to my grandfather’s house and conduct a short program which includes BINGO and Karaoke and Coin Toss and Aguinaldo Giving among others.

I also mentioned in my earlier blog posts that I love dressing up during special occasions. Of course, this includes Christmas!

Ready? Aim. Shoot!

Last May 2014, my friends and I decided to try something new and exciting. Here is a quick throwback of when I tried archery. I was really ecstatic to do this because of the following reasons: 1. I am a fan of Kagome from Inuyasha 2. My aunt engages in this sport every now and then 3. If Katniss can do it, so can I 4. It looks totally awesome! Read on below to check some of the photos from my archery experience! Continue reading “Ready? Aim. Shoot!”
