Ending the Summer Escapades in Tokyo, Japan

Hi everyone! I just got back from my long-awaited summer-ender trip. I must say that it is, by far, my best trip out of the country. And if the situation was different, I would have gladly stayed longer.

You see, a few months ago, my dad went to a travel expo and got us tickets to Japan. This was really sudden because back then, we all did not have our visas so we were pressured to get one. I would like to thank the parents of my friend, Janine, for making the necessary arrangements to get our documents to the Japanese embassy. Luckily, all of us were given multiple-entry visas and all that was left to do was to plan the itinerary!

In this entry, I will tell you all about my four nights and four days stay in Tokyo, Japan.

Summer Escapades: Beat the Heat in Bato Springs

Hi! This will be a quick post on my trip to Bato Springs in San Pablo, Laguna last June 6, 2015. It was a slightly spontaneous trip because I was only kidding my brother to tag me along (because it was his outing and not mine) and he jokingly agreed so I wasn’t sure if I would really go or not. On the night before the trip, he asked me if I have already packed my stuff and that was when I knew that I was really going with him.

And so I packed my things.

Summer Escapades: Cali Castaways

Hello! I went on a slightly spontaneous 3D2N trip last March 27, 2015. I said “slightly spontaneous” because my office mates and I casually planned the trip over lunch a few weeks back but never really talked about it after. On the night before the trip, we were still asking each other if we will push through with it or not – pretty funny. In the end, we decided to just pack our stuff and just go with the flow, after all, we already booked the place we were going to stay in.

The Great Escape

Throw it away. Forget yesterday. We’ll make the great escape. (Boys Like Girls)

They say that everyone must maintain a work-life balance to avoid possible breakdowns or burnouts. I have been wanting to use my vacation leaves for quite some time now but it took a while before my friends and I were able to find a common schedule. This was our first trip together as working adults by the way! A week before our trip, I was feeling very eager to finish my work and submit everything even before the deadline. I wanted to free myself off of possible work calls during my trip, so in a way, this made me feel motivated.

In this post, I will share the trip my friends and I made last November 6-9, 2014 to Negros Occidental (Bacolod)!

I have been to Bacolod twice during Masskara Festival for work. The trips were fun and I am grateful for the experiences but this recent trip with my friends is really one for the books!
